LocalProgram overview
Very Good Local connects participating organizations, supporters and local businesses through an organization-branded tap-to-open sticker and a related local savings experience.
Fundraising purchase
A $25 sticker is a fundraising purchase. It is not described by Very Good Local as a tax-deductible charitable donation.
Organization proceeds
Under the current program structure, a participating organization receives $17 in gross fundraising proceeds from every $25 sticker sold. Final organization-specific terms will be confirmed during launch setup.
Sticker and digital access
Tap the sticker with an iPhone or Android to open the organization’s Very Good Local page. No app is required. Access requires a compatible phone and internet connection.
One-year access and renewal
The fundraiser page connected to each sticker remains active for one year from the organization’s launch date. At the end of that period, access is turned off. A new sticker may be purchased for the following year’s fundraiser.
Local offers
Participating businesses define their own offer details, availability, dates and redemption requirements. Offers may differ by market or edition.
Offer limitations
Individual offer terms, exclusions and expiration dates will be shown with the offer when available. Very Good Local does not create a guarantee beyond the final written program and offer terms.
Refunds
Because each sticker is prepared for a specific fundraiser, completed purchases are generally final. If a sticker arrives damaged or does not work as intended, contact Very Good Local within 14 days of delivery so we can review the issue and provide an appropriate replacement or remedy. Any organization-specific terms shown at purchase also apply.
Organization responsibilities
Participating organizations are expected to provide accurate information, use approved program materials and follow the final program agreement.
Very Good Local responsibilities
Very Good Local will provide the program elements described in the final written agreement and communicate material setup requirements to the organization representative.
